Our team of local guides, captains and experience co-ordinators work together to bring you the best experience possible while visiting the Caribbean Coast of costa rica. We're committed to ensuring we employ local guides and captains from this area with specialized knowledge and a history of community conservation and care.
Our priority, along with incredible guest experiences, is to ensure we minimize our impact on the environment and wildlife. Our knowledgeable guides adhere to respectful wildlife-viewing practices, ensuring a safe and responsible experience. We collaborate with local businesses that align with our values.
CAPTAINS
Our community captains are some of the most experienced local guides of their specific area. Although the area we specialize in is only a stretch of 30kms, every community has it's unique charm and our captains are part of the community they serve. They help by making sure all of the guides are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
Costa Rica is made up of a many microclimates, and the Caribbean Coast is no different. It can be sunny in Cahuita and a raining in Punta Uva. Our captains make sure the whole team knows the weather for each area, ensuring smoother experiences for guests.
Guides
We collaborate with coastal and marine organizations to protect the habitats that make this region thrive. Whether it’s supporting turtle protection, mangrove restoration, or ocean clean-ups, we’re proud to take part in projects that make a lasting difference.
